About Us

Built in the 1940s, Fulton Meat Market, or The Locker, served the Fulton and Clinton area by providing butchering services and lockers in the freezer for the public to rent. In 1983, the Fulton Meat Market opened as a store to purchase meat and other general groceries in addition to providing locker rentals. Greg Anderson is the current owner of the Fulton Meat Market and has continued the "small town" butcher shop and market. Greg bought the place from Tom Maus after working there for 16 years. Tom retired after owning the market for 34 years. The Fulton Meat Market no longer operates as a butcher shop for livestock, however, it is a great place to find a wide variety of fresh cuts of beef, pork, and chicken as well as deli meats and cheeses too! Unfortunately is 2020, our freezer took damage from severe weather and as a result we have lost the ability to rent lockers. In addition to the market inside, every Saturday, starting in April and continuing through October, we have a cookout from 10am - 2pm where we sell 2 or 3 different sandwiches, smoked racks of ribs, and smoked half chickens. We love to see new faces in the store so we hope you come visit and take a look around!
